Die Junioren 2017

In der Krzyżowa-Music Saison 2017 werden erneut insgesamt 37 aufstrebende Nachwuchsmusiker "Juniors" die Möglichkeit bekommen, zwei Wochen lang im Sommer in der ländlichen Abgeschiedenheit von Krzyżowa / Kreisau gemeinsam mit den "Seniors" in sehr konzentrierter Atmosphäre zusammen zu arbeiten. Die "Seniors" gehören zu den in allen Musikzentren der Welt gefragten und solistisch wie pädagogisch sehr erfahrenen Musikern. Somit ermöglicht Krzyżowa-Music einen generations-übergreifenden musikalischen Austausch und ein gemeinsames Konzertieren. Die Auswahl der "Juniors" für das Jahr 2017 wurde Ende Februar 2017 für die Saison abgeschlossen:

Shannon Lee, Violin

Canadian-born violinist Shannon Lee grew up in Plano, Texas. At fourteen, she recorded an album of encore pieces for Telarc International and won the Davidson Fellows Award. Shannon has performed as a soloist with the Dallas Symphony, Nuremberg Philharmonic, and Nashville Symphony.

Edward Leung, Piano

Wojciech Motyl, Bassoon

Wojciech passed his bassoon-class with disctinction at the conservatoire in Pabianace, where he studied with Michał Łabecki. Today, he studies with Zbigniew Płużka at the Frederic Chopin University in Warsaw. He participtated in many competitions, among others the Prague Spring International Music competition in 2014.

Ella van Poucke, Violincello

Dutch cellist Ella van Poucke, born in Amsterdam in 1994, is one of the most promising cellists of her generation. She began playing cello at the age of six, studying at the Royal Conservatory of Th e Hague and later at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. As a soloist, Ella has performed among others with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, Amsterdam Chamber Orchestra and Polish Chamber Orchestra.

Nilay Özdemir, Viola

Born in 1991 in Turkey, Nilay started her music studies at Antalya State Conservatory when she was eleven. After graduating in 2009, she studied in Leipzig with Prof. Tatjana Masurenko, in Paris with Prof. Jean Sulem and in Berlin with Prof. Tabea Zimmermann.
