Die Junioren 2017

In der Krzyżowa-Music Saison 2017 werden erneut insgesamt 37 aufstrebende Nachwuchsmusiker "Juniors" die Möglichkeit bekommen, zwei Wochen lang im Sommer in der ländlichen Abgeschiedenheit von Krzyżowa / Kreisau gemeinsam mit den "Seniors" in sehr konzentrierter Atmosphäre zusammen zu arbeiten. Die "Seniors" gehören zu den in allen Musikzentren der Welt gefragten und solistisch wie pädagogisch sehr erfahrenen Musikern. Somit ermöglicht Krzyżowa-Music einen generations-übergreifenden musikalischen Austausch und ein gemeinsames Konzertieren. Die Auswahl der "Juniors" für das Jahr 2017 wurde Ende Februar 2017 für die Saison abgeschlossen:

Liisa Randalu, Viola

Liisa Randalu was born 1986 in Tallinn and grew up in Karlsruhe where she started studying the violin. In 2009 she decided to focus on the viola and started to study with Prof. Roland Glassl in Frankfurt/Main until 2013.

Berlin-born cellist Nadja Reich studied early at the University of Arts in Berlin from 2008-2012 with Jens Peter Maintz and is studying in Zurich with Th omas Grossenbacher since 2013.

Mishka Rushdie Momen, Piano

Mishka Rushdie Momen, born in London 1992, studied with Joan Havill and Imogen Cooper at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has also periodically studied with Richard Goode. She has been invited by Sir Andr.s Schiff to give recitals in Zurich Tonhalle, New York’s 92Y, Antwerp de Singel, and several cities in Germany and Italy for his 2016-17 “Building Bridges” Series.

Tony Rymer, Violincello

Cellist Tony Rymer has performed major concerts with several orchestras in the US, which have brought him critical acclaim. He was the Second Prize Winner in the 2014 Enescu Competition and has won other prestigious prizes. A native of Boston, Tony began playing cello at the age of five.
